A Custom Field is anything you want to track that is important to your specific operation. For example, you may want to track how many tacos are sold on Taco Tuesday, how many bagels you throw away each day, or how many customers ordered a special. The Custom Fields show up on the dashboard with input boxes for staff to input the specific value.
To add a new Custom Field, simply enter the information into the custom field and the frequency you would like the item to be tracked. Here are the steps:
1. Open the Settings tab and enter the Log Settings section.
2. Find the Custom Field section and type in the title of your new custom field.
3. Click the '+' icon to add this custom field.
4. By default, custom fields are tracked daily. If you would like to edit which days this custom field is tracked, tap the pencil icon on the right and then check/uncheck the day boxes as appropriate. Then, press "Save".
