In the upper right-hand side of your dash, you will see a box titled "Pending Schedule Requests." If a request/trade needs your approval, a bubble icon will appear to notify you. By tapping the icon, you can view the shift that needs your approval and then approve/deny it as appropriate.
The following image shows the Pending Schedule Requests box that you will see on your Dashboard.
